Ambassador Happy Feet

We are privileged to welcome the famous Emperor penguin “Happy Feet” as the Ambassador for the “Our Far South” project. Happy Feet is presently recuperating at Wellington Zoo and with some luck he’ll be back in the sea and on his way back to Antarctica in a month or two. He has graciously offered to carry a satellite tag so we can all trace his journey daily as he heads south – and this will  be live on this site when the time comes.
